Heart disease is one of the biggest health problems plaguing Americans these days. This February has been dedicated to raising awareness of heart disease and teaching the basics of CPR as part of American Heart Month. As part of the educating process, the American Heart Association has started the Be the Beat campaign, which aims to teach kids how to perform CPR on individuals suffering from cardiac arrest.To be part of the campaign and help spread awareness for the cause, you can enter to win a special edition (Product) Red 8 GB iPod Nano, a $50 iTunes gift card, and AMA stationary. There are two ways to enter:
1. Login to your Twitter account and tweet the following message: “ It’s American Heart Month! Win a Red 8GB iPod Nano from @PetiteMommy http://tinyurl.com/yzz3rc2 ” You can tweet once per day to increase your chances of winning.
2. Visit the Be The Beat website and choose your favorite 100 BPM song, then post the artist and title of the song you have chosen in the comments section of the giveaway description at this link: ContestForMoms.com.
The entry deadline is February 19th, 2010, so you still have plenty of time to enter the giveaway and be a part of the American Heart Month.
